CUDiM & House og Game//Play Talk: Alternate reality and pervasive games for learning: theory, design and practice
Alternate reality, pervasive and immersive games use clever design to blur the edges between reality and fiction, creating a compelling and (for core players) highly engaging experience. This talk by Alex Moseley, Educational Designer, Leicester Learning Institute, University of Leicester will present some core motivational features for immersive play and how that could be used to build successful game-based course and Pervasive Learning Games. There will also be time to try out one such game.

CUDiM/CHEF Talk: Participatory and playful approaches to analogue, digital and online education: some future directions
Joint external seminar on future trends and potentials in participatory analogue, digital and online education hosted by Center for Teaching Development and Digital Media in collaboration with the Centre for Higher Education Futures. This seminar focuses on potentials in adopting more participatory and playful approaches and attitudes when designing for and engaging students in higher education. Particularly, it will focus on the potentials of adopting a participatory playful approach for widening participation in HE, encouraging student engagement and designing for participation in online education – also on a massive scale such as found in e.g. MOOCs. The seminar itself will give examples of and demonstrate this approach.

Litteratursøgning og referencehåndtering for PhD studerende på Arts, AU (dag 1 ud af 2)
Kurset vil give et overblik over både generelle og fagspecifikke databaser, opslagsværker, fuldtekstressourcer m.m. Deltagerne bliver præsenteret for forskellige søgestrategier, for referencehåndtering, og for værktøjer og metoder for forskningsovervågning. Kodepiraterne er hver gang sammen om at idégenerere, udforske, opfinde, konstruere, kode, lege og skabe gennem teknologiske programmer og designs. Vi arbejder tæt sammen med Aarhus Hovedbiblioteks afdeling af Coding Pirates på DOKK1, hvor børnene fra begge afdelinger samles i åben hus-arrangementer én gang per sæson. Following the course, the participants complete a reflection paper on the themes discussed during the course and on how they think that these themes will be relevant and apply to their own specific PhD process. Efteruddannelse i entreprenørskab - E3U (seminardøgn 3 ud af 4)
Alle, der brænder for at undervise med entreprenørskab i grundskolen, på de gymnasiale ungdomsuddannelser og på de videregående uddannelser. Det vigtigt, at der deltager mindst to fra samme institution, så man i fællesskab kan arbejde med de fire entreprenørielle dimensioner i sin egen praksis.
