“In recent years, podcasts have appeared everywhere, the shelves are booming with popular true crime narratives, news from newspapers, and conversations about every possible issue. Listeners can wash up, ride bikes or by bus, while they are introduced to very complex issues and academic concepts with podcasts.

The universities are also interested in communication via sound, and podcasts of familiar philosophers, psychological concepts or introduction to autopsy on medicine are just the tip of the iceberg of what we already offer

The aim of the one-day workshop is to get a good start on the fundamental considerations and to get practical, hands-on experience of completing the production process over the one-day workshop.

We discuss different podcast formats, target groups, narratives and fundamental technical prerequisites for producing good research communication via sound.

There will be time to do exercises and pilot sections for your own podcast, and there will be a discussion of music rights, use of real sounds and editing. The workshop are organised with plenty of time to get hands-on impressions of programs, recording situations and manuscript writing.

We work on the basis of the participants' prerequisites and interests, so that the workshop are as functional as possible.
